If achieving dreams is an uphill battle, so more for a kid who had a mild-stroke. Felix Zuño III, an 11 year-old resident of Brgy. Putatan and one of the graduates of Muntinlupa Elementary School (MES) recounted in their completion ceremonies how he had a mild-stroke when he was five years old. Since then, Zuño said the health condition impaired his speech and writing capabilities. But even with his state, he continued to strive for academic excellence with the help of his family and friends. Zuño graduated as his batch’s Salutatorian and gave an inspirational speech during MES Completion Ceremonies last April 5. In the photo, Muntinlupa Mayor Jaime Fresnedi congratulates Zuño for his achievement and for being an inspiration to many. Zuño received P5,000 cash incentive from the City Government through Muntinlupa Scholarship Program. He plans to continue his study in De La Salle Santiago Zobel, Ayala Alabang.
