MUNTI SCHOOL VIES FOR INT’L PRIZE

The Revitalized Algae Micro-farming research proposal from Muntinlupa National High School qualifies as one of the four finalists in the Global High School category for East Asia & Pacific of the 2019 Zayed Sustainability Prize (ZSP). Research proponents RegaeleOlarte and Jason Albaro, with  school principal Florante Marmento, Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Mauro de Gulan and MNHS student Maria Eliza May Faldas who will be attending the awarding ceremony in Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week paid a courtesy visit to Muntinlupa Mayor Jaime Fresnedi last January 11. The local exec congratulated the team and hoped that their feat will inspire Muntinlupeño students to strive for excellence in their scholastic endeavors. The winners in the Global High School category will receive a prize of $100,000 from the UAE government.
