Christmas arrives early in Muntinlupa City as the local government opens Santa Toy Factory Themed display on Friday, November 8, 5:30pm
This year’s display highlights the 45-feet Christmas tree spectacle which serves as the centerpiece of attraction. The giant tree is ornamented with life-sized lollipops made from fiber glass materials and draped with colorful LED lights.
Muntinlupa City Hall compound turns into a magical playground as 1,000 stuffed toys, giant nutcrackers and candy canes cover the government facility. Children and children-at-heart visitors will be transported to a Christmas village as they are greeted by life-sized Santa Claus and reindeer displays. On top of these, a mini-playground is also installed for the kids.
Magical evening awaits city residents as the City Hall compound will be draped with over 400,000 colorful LED lights. Susana Heights and Centennial Avenue in Laguerta, will be also decorated with toy factory themed elements and Christmas lights.
A life-sized scene of the nativity, or what Filipinos refer to as Belen, is also installed in the foyer of the Muntinlupa City Hall.
Muntinlupa Mayor Jaime Fresnedi together with local officials will lead the annual Christmas lighting ceremony at the Muntinlupa City Hall Quadrangle. The program will be followed by a gift-giving event to Muntinlupa kids.
The local exec invites all residents to enjoy the Christmas Toy Factory display and experience the colorful Christmas in the City Hall.
“We invite all Muntinlupeños in the early Christmas offering of the City Government. As we celebrate this year’s Christmas, may we not forget that heart of the message of this festivity which is about the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ,” Fresnedi says.
Earlier, the Muntinlupa Traffic Management Bureau released a traffic advisory advising motorists to take alternative routes during the program.
The Toy Fun Factory Christmas display in Muntinlupa City Hall will be open every day from 6:00PM to 10:00PM.
