READER'S SERVICES PROGRAM

We provide guidance to library users on the most appropriate and updated reading materials.

Children’s Section – we encourage preschoolers and elementary students build the passion for reading, research, and the love of books. We offer a variety of children’s books, from fiction story books where they can get moral lessons, to the books of facts where they can get factual information and at the same time enjoy the fun of reading through the book’s modern designs and illustrations. We also offer educational board games, arts and crafts, storytelling activities, e-books, and film showings.

Teen Section – we encourage the youth of our generation to read teen literature, whether it be fiction or non-fiction. The library offers many new pocket books that are very popular for most teenagers. There are also teen magazines where they can get teen advice for health, fashion, and other life issues.

Adult Section – we make sure that our readers are informed and updated with the world and the country’s current events through offering them periodicals like newspapers and magazines. We offer a wide variety of magazine, from health and business magazines to agricultural magazines. We also have books offered at their level.

Reference Section – we promote research and reading books to high school and college students. We offer books that contain specific facts and general information.

E-Library Program – we like to offer our library patrons the easiest and modern way of locating books and other library learning materials through computerized catalogued system (KOHA) and Starbooks (donated by DOST, became one of the Star search engine popularly use by the Teachers for teaching guides, and motherhood who are interested in livelihood activities.

Computer and internet services

In line with promoting the love of book to our library patrons, we also offer them the free use of computer and internet to cope with the modern age of our generation. We let them use internet for research and other references.

Free Little Library (“Take a Book, Return a Book, Read Many”)

We offer a section of books outside our library called the Free Little Library. Since we can’t have our books borrowed for at-home reading, we sorted some very old books (mostly fictional and novel) that we can put in this section. The goal of this project is to make use of the old books that are not given attention by most library users and to have it borrowed as well. They can take whatever book they want in that particular section and leave one in return. That way, they can read many and share at the same time.
